Loving Lord, we serve and follow you. Guide us this Lent as we travel to the glory of your great promise. We place our thoughts and prayers before you.
We pray for the people of Ukraine and those who suffer terrible consequences of conflicts. We pray world leaders come together to create a diplomatic solution for lasting peace.
We pray for people around the world whose dignity is not respected. May social and political institutions serve to protect and promote the dignity of every human person.
As Haiti descends into chaos governed by gangs, we pray for those caught up in violence and ask for their protection.
During this Dementia Prayer Week, 12-19 March, we pray for all those living with Dementia and all those tending to their care. May the Holy Spirit bless and protect them both on their difficult journeys.
We pray for all those that are about to begin a new adventure in life, be that a new job, house move, retirement. May this new chapter bring an abundance of happiness and contentment for joy filled days ahead.
We pray for a moment for our own personal petitions…
Lord, help us to travel through Lent with open hearts and listening ears. Let us hear your voice in the stillness, as we give thanks for your loving grace. Amen.
