Bidding Prayers – 3rd November

Lord, today we come to you to tell you we love you with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our mind and with all our strength. Thank you for hearing the prayers we bring before you.

As UNICEF highlights the dire situation faced by children in Gaza who are in critical need of medical care, we pray that they receive this basic human right. We also turn our prayers and gratitude to those risking their lives tending to the sick.

We pray for the rescuers in southern Spain who are working tirelessly to find anyone still missing after flash flooding killed at least 95 people in the region. May those that lost their lives be cradled in Heavenly peace.

As we enter November and the commercial aspect of the Christmas season begins, we pray for all those that are struggling financially. Let us remember the true meaning of Christmas and give the gift of our time, to those who need it most.

We pray for all those that are experiencing poor mental health. May the Holy Spirit comfort and reassure them and remind them they are loved.

We pray for all those that are enduring a sense of loss, be that through a bereavement, a breakdown of relationship, a collapse in friendship, loss of a job. May they feel nurtured through their faith and consoled by the love of the Holy Spirit.

Heavenly Lord, your never-ending love gives us the strength and courage to lead the life you chose for us. Thank you for always guiding us. Amen.
