Lord, help us to nurture our seed of faith. Help us to make it grow and flourish and bring others into the Christian fold. Hear our prayers we bring before you.
This Father’s Day we pray for our Holy Father and all Fathers that teach us to grow, stay strong and resilient. We thank them for the energy and commitment they put into serving their children, families and communities.
We pray for all those that are suffering from the trauma caused by war. We specifically pray for all those caught up in the ongoing fighting in Ukraine and Israel – Hamas. We pray for peace.
As we near the end of the academic year, we pray for all students that are soon to embark on a new school, college, university. May they look back with affection and happiness on this period and look to the future with excitement and opportunity.
As this month marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day, we pray for and remember the bravery of the tens of thousands of troops that landed on beaches across Normandy, marking the start of the campaign to liberate Nazi occupied northern Europe. We remember these brave young men that gave the ultimate sacrifice, as we offer them our eternal heartfelt thanks.
As the cost of living continues to put demands on families, we pray for those that are struggling to make ends meet. May they receive the help and support they need to survive and thrive.
As we enjoy the summer months, we pray and give thanks for the natural beauty that surrounds us. May we find joy in the simple things and peace in our hearts.
Lord, thank you for walking beside us and believing in us. Help us to carve out special time with you. Amen.
