Lord of life and hope, you made us an Alleluia People and so, filled with Easter joy, we bring you ourselves and all the people of our world.
We live in a world which needs light and hope. May all priestsbe instruments of peace and joy.
For those who live in situations of poverty, violence and injustice, every day can seem like Good Friday. May they discover the new life of Easter so that the darkness which surrounds them might be transformed into light.
At the Easter vigil, many people received one or more sacraments for the first time. As they start their new journey through life, may each day draw them into a deeper and closer relationship with our risen Lord.
For those who are experiencing the pain of bereavement, it can be difficult to celebrate. May they find the comfort and support that they need. May the ones who have died be enjoying the fullness of everlasting life.
The Easter holidays are an opportunity for families to spend more time with each other. May their love grow and radiate to everyone they meet.
We long for the resurrection to be a reality in our lives. May the risen Lord set our hearts on fire with love and Easter joy.
Risen Lord, be our life, our hope and our joy. Father, Sonand Holy Spirit, be with us now and always. Amen.
