Lord of All, we long for your kingdom. In our prayers today we ask you to reveal how we, individually and as a community, can strive for peace and justice, and do your work on earth.
As the global movement of migrants and asylum seekers continues, and we hear terrible stories of lives lost and families torn apart, we hold in our prayers all those who, for whatever reason, are hoping to build a new life in a new country. We pray too, for all those facing the possibility of deportation to Rwanda, asking the Holy Spirit to comfort and reassure them at this uncertain time.

We pray for those who are caught up in conflict, war and civil unrest – in Ukraine, Palestine, Israel, and Myanmar. We ask God to pour healing grace into these troubled places and restore lasting peace.

We pray for those in our communities who are facing illness, hardshipor distress. We pray for those who are isolated, bitter or angry. In prayer we hold them before God. We ask for compassion and wisdom, to see what we can do to alleviate suffering and shine the light God’s love into troubled lives.
Lord in thy Mercy
Hear our Prayer.
We pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance in navigating difficult situations in our own lives – whether that be a difficult relationship, financial concerns or health worries. We pray for serenity and commitment, to hold fast to faith through the dark days as well as the light.
Lord in thy Mercy
Hear our Prayer.
Lord God, without you we are powerless. But with the Holy Spirit, there is no limit to what we can achieve. Your kingdom come, Lord. Amen.
