Loving Lord, we come to you and remind ourselves to always take refuge in you. Hear our prayers we bring before you.
We pray as we are reminded to see Jesus’ face in the poor. Let us seek to build a just society where universal fraternity and social friendship are lived and experienced by all.
We pray for the millions of people in Gaza that are on the brink of famine as they struggle to access food. May aid reach them quickly and may world leaders act to ensure no one goes hungry.
We pray for The Royal Family, especially King Charles and Catherine, Princess of Wales, as they take a step back from public duties to receive treatment for cancer.
We pray for all families that are enjoying the Easter break, may each of their days be happy and full of adventure and fun, ready to start the spring term refreshed and revived.
We pray for all those living in despair. May the Holy Spirit console and comfort them, providing them with hope for better days ahead.
As we rejoice, following Jesus’ resurrection, let us pray and give thanks for all we have in our life. Let us be grateful for all our blessings, our faith, our family, for love and kindness, and the beauty of the natural world that surrounds us.
Heavenly Father, we are forever grateful to receive the gift of the consolation of the Holy Spirit. We place all our trust in you. Continue to guide and protect us. Amen.
